Kids Bikes by Size
Light, narrow, fast. Sounds like a racing bike, right? Sounds like carbon, high-tech and expensive. Everything right - except expensive.
When it's time for a new bike, the first question is often the price - and we're happy to answer that. Because with us you don't just get the absolute latest novelties directly from the specialist dealer, but also reduced discontinued models, little ridden, cheap test bikes or low-priced exhibition pieces - right here in our road bike sale.
Bike collections don't change as often as T-shirts do, but most manufacturers bring out new models once a year. However, the innovations are rarely so spectacular that they make the previous year's road bikes look so old that you can't be seen anywhere with them.
This means that our dealers want to sell last year's models as quickly as possible, because they need space for the "new" ones. To make this happen a little faster, they drastically reduce their prices. And that's how you can enjoy our special offers. The bikes are by no means outdated or otherwise second-rate, they are simply good value for money.
The end of the 2023 season has not only meant that the 2024 bikes are slowly arriving in the shops. Now is also the time when the eagerly awaited 2023 model that you've been eyeing for so long is available at bargain prices at one or two dealers. Because the dealers always have one or two leftover road bikes in stock that have not found a buyer during the season. Now that things are getting tight in the shop, however, dealers usually start cutting back, so that bike lovers can look forward to heavily discounted discontinued models. However, these are not mass-produced items but very limited editions from the previous year, which often can no longer be re-ordered in this form. However, you don't have long to think: if your dream bike is among them and the price finally fits your budget, you should take your chance and strike at our road bike sale. There may not be a second one.
We are not an online shop, but an internet platform where bike dealers offer their road bikes. You can get the best prices from them anyway, but what has to go, has to go and is mercilessly reduced. You can find the cheap remaining stock under our sale offers. We don't skimp on advice and service! Even if you buy a reduced road bike in the sale, you will receive competent advice and can of course test ride it.
However, many of the cheap offers are one-offs, so you should never wait too long. Otherwise someone else will end up riding your dream bike along the side of the road! The bikes cannot usually be reordered and are often only available in a few sizes and quantities. Gone is gone. On BikeExchange you have the advantage of being offered last year's models from 400 dealers. The best price may be gone, but the second best is still there. That's why the road bike sale never ends with us.
In contrast to the online bike shops, you can get your road bikes and all accessories from various specialist bike dealers. There are almost 400 of them at the moment! Our dealers sell racing bikes from all known top brands like Giant, Scott, Trek or Pinarello. This adds up to around 25,000 items offered via BikeExchange, thousands of them at bargain prices.
When one of the big manufacturers presents its latest models, last year's models slip down a category, but only in terms of price. The excellent technology you can expect from Felt or Cannondale is, of course, still present in the road bikes. The reduced bikes from BMC, Argon 18 and Bianchi are in most cases on a par with the latest models in terms of equipment, just cheaper. You can expect savings of up to a sensational 50%!
When the latest road bikes are presented at trade fairs or as part of a spectacular presentation, they differ only slightly from their predecessors in technical terms; often there is mainly a new paint job or the odd replaced component to marvel at. Of course, this involves costs that you can safely save, because it is definitely cheaper and without any loss in terms of quality.
Well-known favourites such as classic racing bikes, touring racing bikes, endurance racing bikes or time trial bikes have long been available as bargains from the previous year. But also the top novelties of the last few years like cyclocross bikes or gravel bikes are now ready. Those who have practised patience can now strike, look forward to almost cutting-edge innovations and soon complete the first training laps on their new road bike.
Traditionally, there is less to a road bike, the equipment is rather minimalist, because that reduces the weight. In order to achieve a spectacular six to ten kilograms, unnecessary things are dispensed with and material is reduced at every turn. But anyone who thinks that a road bike should be particularly cheap because of all the "cuts" is very much mistaken. Despite all the savings, the bike must of course be stable and durable, and that only works with the very best materials. In plain language: the road bike should be inexpensive, not made of cheap components. And we contribute our share to the riding pleasure with greatly reduced prices.
